read

public static Properties read(String pDefaultProps,
              String pPath,
              String pFle)
                       throws IOException

Read user properties out of a file in users home-directory.

Parameters:

pDefaultProps - the default properties name (will read by the class loader), may be null

pPath - optional path underneath users home-directory, may be null

pFle - optional filename for user properties. If null, a default filename will be used.

Returns:

users properties

Throws:

IOException - if we have IO problems

write

public static void write(Properties pUserProps,
         String pPath,
         String pFile)
                  throws IOException

Write user properties into a file in users home-directory.

Parameters:

pUserProps - the user properties to write into a file

pPath - optional path underneath users home-directory, may be null

pFile - optional filename for user properties. If null, a default filename will be used.

Throws:

IOException - if we have IO problems
