Advanced Map Demo

This demo features:

• Toolbar with map controls:
  • Navigation control
  • Pan/zoom bar toggle control
  • Zooming controls
  • Navigation history controls
  • Measurement controls
  • Geometry selection controls which call a callback JavaScript function
  • Overview map toggle control
• Map size control - allows setting the size of the map to one of the predefines sizes
• Scale input - allows zooming to the specified scale
• Styleable pan/zoom bar
• Overview map
• Legend control with a number of plugins:
  • Layer visibility, position and removal plugins
  • Zoom to visible scale plugin - displayed if layer is out of range, when clicked, zooms to the scale where layer is visible
  • Layer title plugin
  • Layer legend plugin

Configuration:

• config.xml - determines how the map client should appear
• viewContext.xml - defines which content should be displayed in the main map
• viewContextOverview.xml - defines which content should be displayed in the overview map
